Aluminium Alloy 6063 Pipes are a medium strength alloy commonly referred to as an architectural alloy. It is normally used in intricate extrusions. 6063 has high corrosion resistance, a good surface finish, is readily welded and can be anodized. 6063 is mostly used in extruded shapes for architecture, particularly window frames, door frames, roofs, and sign frames. It is typically produced with very smooth surfaces fit for anodizing. It has generally good mechanical properties and is heat treatable and weldable. 6063 Aluminium Pipes has a lower strength than 6061, making it suited for applications where strength is not the foremost consideration. It has good corrosion resistance and a good surface finish. It is readily welded by all methods and can be easily anodized.
